Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate:
  • $27.50/hour + $5.55/hour Health & Wellness Stipend (first 40 hours worked)
  • Effective rate of $33.05/hour for first 40 hours worked each week
  • $29.00/hour after 40 hours worked
Schedule:
  • Sunday through Saturday availability required
  • Morning routes depart between 2:00 AM and 8:00 AM OR
  • Afternoon/evening routes depart between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM
5 to 6 days per week; Local routes, home daily

Job Duties
  • Operate a Class B straight truck on local delivery routes
  • Transport and deliver mail and related materials safely and efficiently
  • Utilize liftgate equipment during deliveries when required
  • Handle and maneuver rolling mail bins at pickup and delivery locations
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
  • Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
Driving Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class B license + current DOT Medical Card.
  • FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.
  • Clean MVR and passable screenings.
  • 1 year of CDL driving experience, within the past 3 years.
  • No more than 3 combined violations or accidents in 3 years.
  • Sharp on DOT regs, checks, and compliance.

What You Will Do
As a Class B Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
