Class A Yard HostlerNow hiring for a Class A Yard Hostler Location: Beaumont, TX Pay Rate: $26.50 per hour Rotating Shifts: 3:00 PM–12:00 AM and 12:00 AM–9:00 AM Schedule: Monday-FridayYour Class A license opens the door — we make it worth walking through.What You'll Do:Safely operate a Class A yard mule and tractor to move trailers throughout the yard and facility grounds.Position trailers at designated dock doors for loading and unloading operations.Perform trailer spotting, switching, and yard management activities to support warehouse and shipping operations.Move empty and loaded trailers efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment.Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and yard equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.Verify trailer numbers, locations, and status to ensure accurate trailer tracking.Communicate with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and shipping teams regarding trailer movements and priorities.Maintain organized trailer placement within the yard to maximize operational efficiency.Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.Operate equipment safely in tight spaces and around pedestrian and forklift traffic.Complete required logs, inspection reports, and movement documentation accurately.Monitor trailers for damage and report any issues immediately.Occasionally, drive outside the yard to fuel equipment as needed.Support shipping and receiving operations by ensuring trailers are available when required.Requirements:Valid CDL-A licenseDOT Medical CardFMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR1-year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)Benefits:Weekly payMedical, dental, vision & life insurance401(k) availableHoliday pay (eligible drivers)Staffmark Perks – discounts on food, movies & more"Steady work, weekly pay, no surprises.
