Class A Welder- 2nd shift $26-$34/hr

Pay Rate: $26-$34/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 4:30pm- 5am Class A Welder Job Description:

• Responsibilities include welding in accordance with ASME Code requirements; maintaining welding equipment, tools and supplies in safe working order; work effectively in a team-based environment while maintaining safety standards including proper utilization of all required PPE and following related safety procedures.
• Participate in pre and post planned readiness of parts and tools, for planned fit up and welding activities.
• If applicable, the job scope to encompass welding in the following process if directed by departmental supervisor (FCAW, GMAW, GTAW).
• Complete understanding of ASME code requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications.
• Read/interpret measuring devices (e.g., measuring tape).
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools and able to use various hand tools (POWERED AND MANUAL).
• Help to train Class B and Class C fitters/welders.
• Ability to work overtime/weekends as needed.

Class A Welder Skills:

• (5) years of manufacturing experience in fitting/welding and/or sub-arc related functions.
• Complete 3G/6G test. Sub-Arc complete 6g and Sub-Arc test.
• Gouging experience is a plus.
