Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:
- Operation of manual transmission
- Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversize loads
- Ability to complete equipment inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT regulations
- Knowledge of federal and state cargo securement laws
- Ability to read and write description of mechanical problems and repairs
- Experience with understanding/reading haul permits
- Perform safety sensitive tasks
- Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
- Regular and Predictable Performance
Education / Experience: Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent; Valid Class 'A' CDL with doubles/triples endorsement required; Experience with jeeps & stinger trailers; 2 years of lowboy/heavy haul experience; Ability to meet all DOT Requirements;3 years of clean driving record Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Responsible and safety minded
- Basic heavy equipment operating skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organization skills & the ability to handle varied tasks at once
