Class A Driver

Job Purpose:
- As a Driver for OLDENKAMP TRUCKING, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of milk from dairies to producers, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of liquid products. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of the transported goods while adhering to industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up milk from designated dairies and deliver it to producers efficiently and safely.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed daily logs of routes, deliveries, and conditions encountered during transport.
- Transport milk over long and short distances, ensuring adherence to scheduled timelines.
- Collect milk samples as required, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, producers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Obtain and maintain necessary certifications, including a current Weigher & Sampler License from CDFA.
- Uphold the reputation of OLDENKAMP TRUCKING by providing professional and courteous service at all times.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Valid Class A Driver's License
- Current Medical Exam Certificate
- Tankers Endorsement
- Obtain a current Weigher & Sampler License from CDFA
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
