Job Duties

• Operate a tractor and reefer trailer
• Local routes
• Delivering grocery products to customer stores
• Average 1 to 2 stops per day
• Unloading with electric pallet jack to end of trailer or dock deliveries
• Perform pre- and post-trips daily to ensure safety
• Ability to multi-task
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse managers

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

What You Will Do
As a Class A Delivery Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
The Class A Delivery Driver plays an essential role in delivering products, materials, and equipment where they are needed safely and on time. This position combines professional driving skills with a commitment to safety, organization, and dependable service.
A successful Class A Delivery Driver understands vehicle inspections, route planning, transportation documentation, and safe operating practices while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
