Class A CDL Truck Driver - Scrap Metal Hauling
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to haul recycled ferrous and nonferrous metals using various sizes and styles of containers. Routes are located within Wisconsin and neighboring reciprocity areas, allowing drivers to be home every night.
This position offers flexible hours and delivery times, paid roll-off training for the right candidate, and above-average annual compensation.
Responsibilities
- Safely and promptly deliver, pick up, and exchange scrap-metal containers.
- Operate on local and semi-local routes.
- Inspect, secure, and prepare loads for safe road travel.
- Operate roll-off equipment and occasionally pull a pup trailer.
- Complete required vehicle inspections and transportation paperwork.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers.
- Follow all company procedures and DOT safety regulations.
