## Position Overview

William W. Professional Staffing LLC is recruiting experienced and dependable Class A CDL tractor-trailer drivers on behalf of a confidential transportation client.

Drivers may reside anywhere within the general territory extending from Denver, Colorado, to New York and surrounding areas. This opportunity is designed for professional drivers who are comfortable with extensive travel and variable route assignments.

Freight type, trailer configuration, schedule, route, and home time may vary based on customer needs, driver qualifications, and availability.

## Equipment and Freight Experience

Candidates with experience operating the following equipment are encouraged to apply:

* Dry van trailers
* Refrigerated or reefer trailers
* Flatbed trailers
* Step-deck trailers
* Specialized tractor-trailer equipment
* Manual or automatic transmissions
* 48-foot and 53-foot trailers

Applicants are not required to have experience with every equipment type. Assignments will be evaluated according to the driver’s verified experience, endorsements, safety history, and availability.

## Primary Responsibilities

* Safely operate Class A commercial tractor-trailer equipment.
* Transport freight across regional and over-the-road routes.
* Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
* Maintain accurate electronic logs, mileage records, delivery documentation, and hours-of-service records.
* Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, traffic, and company safety requirements.
* Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding routes, delays, equipment concerns, and delivery status.
* Verify freight and load documentation before departure.
* Secure freight properly when operating flatbed, step-deck, or specialized trailers.
* Monitor refrigerated freight and temperature requirements when operating reefer equipment.
* Report accidents, violations, cargo issues, and mechanical concerns immediately.
* Maintain professional conduct when interacting with customers, dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other drivers.
* Meet scheduled pickup and delivery requirements without compromising safety.

## Minimum Qualifications

* Active and valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
* Current and valid DOT medical card.
* Verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
* Acceptable motor vehicle record and CDL safety history.
* Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
* Experience using electronic logging devices.
* Ability to complete vehicle inspections and identify safety or maintenance concerns.
* Ability to pass all required background, employment, driving-record, drug-screening, and qualification reviews.
* Willingness and ability to travel 100%.
* Ability to remain away from home according to assigned route and freight requirements.
* Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with dry van, reefer, flatbed, step-deck, or specialized freight.
* Regional or nationwide OTR driving experience.
* Experience securing loads with straps, chains, binders, and tarps.
* Experience driving in varying weather, traffic, and road conditions.
* Current endorsements applicable to specialized assignments.
* Strong safety, attendance, communication, and on-time delivery record.

## Compensation and Candidate Bonus

The anticipated annual compensation range is **$90,000 $115,000**. Final compensation will depend on the assignment, equipment, route, schedule, verified experience, endorsements, and other job-related qualifications.

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a bonus of up to **$2,000**. Bonus eligibility, conditions, and payment timing will be explained during the interview and offer process. The bonus is not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.
