About the Role:
FLORAL TRADE DISTRIBUTORS LLC is looking for dedicated Class A CDL Team Drivers to join our growing operation out of Vista, CA! This is an exciting opportunity to hit the road with a co-driver, as part of a dynamic distribution team.
Responsibilities:
Operate Class A tractor-trailer sleeper as part of a two-driver team to ensure timely deliveries
Transport floral and perishable freight safely while maintaining product integrity
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
Maintain accurate driver logs using ELD systems and adhere to HOS regulations
Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
Load and unload freight as needed, ensuring proper handling of delicate floral cargo
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL license required
Must be 25 years of age with a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience
Must be willing and able to drive as part of a team (co-driving experience preferred)
Clean MVR and satisfactory driving record
Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
Familiarity with ELD devices and DOT/FMCSA compliance
Experience hauling perishable or temperature-sensitive freight is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with a co-driver
