Class A CDL Driver Hendrix, OK | $25+/HR | Early Morning Shift
SNELLING is hiring a Class A CDL Driver for a sod farm operation in Hendrix, Oklahoma.
This is not a typical drop-and-go driving job. The driver will haul sod on a 44-foot flatbed trailer, operate a forklift to load and unload, secure loads, and assist with minor roadside repairs when needed.
Schedule
* Early morning start - typically 3:00 or 4:00 AM
* Loads may need to be delivered by 8:00 AM
* Routes include DFW to Broken Bow
* Approximately 8-hour days
* Early start means an earlier finish
Pay Starting at $25/hour
* Higher pay may be considered based on experience.
Requirements
* Class A CDL
* Must have held CDL for at least 3 years
* Comfortable driving a manual transmission truck
* Mechanical knowledge required
* Forklift experience preferred
* Able to strap and secure loads
* Able to perform physical labor throughout the day
* Dependable and comfortable working independently
Job Duties
* Haul sod and related materials
* Drive a 44-foot flatbed trailer
* Load and unload using a forklift
* Secure and strap loads
* Perform minor truck repairs if needed while on the road
* Complete physically demanding work as part of daily operations
This is a good fit for an experienced CDL driver who does not mind getting out of the truck and working hands-on.
