We are looking for a dependable and professional CDL A Delivery Driver to make local deliveries of building materials. This position involves loading and unloading materials by hand, with training provided when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Make local deliveries of lumber and building materials
- Load and unload materials safely, including by hand when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites
- Operate delivery equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license
- Valid driver's license
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Current D.O.T. medical card
- Professional demeanor and neat appearance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug and alcohol testing
Experience Preferred
- Experience delivering or handling building materials
- Experience operating a truck-mounted crane/Moffett
- Experience with box trucks, boom trucks, or flatbed trucks
- Forklift operating experience
