Apply now!Class 3 Electrical Assembler Responsibilities:Read, learn, understand, and interpret blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete assembly of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standardsRead, understand, and interpret more complex ruler measurementsAdvanced soldering and crimping skillsAbility to identify and pick out various sizes of wire for productionKnowledge of crimping machine and changing of dies in bench top crimperKnowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipmentUse a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly of components or products and prepare products and other items for shipmentAssemble or modify electronic equipment, position, align and adjust work pieces and electronic parts to facilitate wiring assemblyAdditional responsibilities, such as packaging and/or spot-checking others workInspect and test parts and products as necessary, during and/or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standardsAdvanced knowledge of all positions – go to person for assembly questionsResponsible for In-process inspection of all class 3 work, proper documentation, and proper method of assemblyCapable of setting up jobs and filling out paperwork for productionAble to troubleshoot as neededAdvanced knowledge of IPC Training ModulesComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasRequirements for Class 3 Electrical Assembler:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, with the ability to speak and understand EnglishAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbersAdvances soldering and crimping skillsKnowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipmentTime managementRead and interpret schematic drawings diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructionsMay be required to read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, scales, and use magnifying aidsHigh School Diploma or equivalent1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceIPC CertificationOccasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hearFrequently required to sitSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focusThe ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objectsOccasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 poundsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
