Research and troubleshoot production issuesExtensive experience creating detailed functional and technical design documentation and the technical development of software and reporting capabilities utilizing the established PMO software solution suite Clarity PPM v13.2, Business Objects 3.3, Business Objects WEBi v12.50 (report design) and Business Objects Crystal Reports 2008 (report design)Converts business and functional specifications into technical design solutions and programming instructions. Designs and codes complex programs; data conversion scripts, Clarity jobs, Gel Scripts, XOG Processes, NSQL, Stored Procedures, database functions and batch programsExpertise with the configuration capabilities within the Clarity PPM toolDevelops detailed functional and technical flowcharts to show processing logic supported by the PMO software solution suiteCreates and maintains detailed technical design documentation.
Experience reviewing existing code, identifying the logic and workflow it supports and creating functional and technical documentation from the analysisConducts unit testing activities. Creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessaryUses in depth knowledge of the Clarity tool, Crystal reports and SQL to troubleshoot technical issuesReviews, analyzes, and modifies interface jobs with external systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large scale systemCodes complex queries and XOG processes in support of complex workflow capabilities, portlets, reports, and researching issuesConducts technical code reviews and sign-offsPerforms related duties as assigned or requestedQualifications:Minimum 5 years of all related work experience requiredMinimum 5 years experience supporting the Clarity tool from a technical perspective required. Technical expertise specifically with version 13.2 of the tool required.
Experience must include the following modules/capabilities in the Clarity PPM tool: Portfolio Management, Program Management, Project Management, Financial Management, Demand Management, Timesheet Management, Resource Management, Security Model, Time Slices, Portlets and Portlet Pages, Partitions, Custom Objects and Attributes, Conditional Subpages, Clarity Database Schema, Full Clarity Application Administration, Clarity Studio, Clarity Version Upgrades, Integrations with 3rd Party Applications, XOG, GelScripts, Clarity Jobs, Clarity Processes, NSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, Stored proceduresMinimum 5 years of technical coding experience with Business Objects 3.3, Business Objects WEBi v12.50 (report design) and Business Objects Crystal Reports 2008 (report design)Extensive experience researching and troubleshooting production issues within the Clarity v13.2 PPM tool and BO Crystal Reports 2008Minimum 5 years of experience with Toad or a similar SQL ToolRemedy and JIRA experience is a plusMust be able to multi-task assignmentsSelf-motivatedHigh attention to detailStrong Excel modeling skills
