Overseeing the daily operations of a claims examining team, the full-time remote Claims Manager will supervise and advise claims examiners throughout the adjudication process, ensuring compliance with regulations and departmental standards. Key responsibilities Supervises and advises claims examiners in all phases of the adjudication process Schedules, assigns, and oversees the work of claims examiners, resolving workflow challenges Implements programmatic changes and provides feedback to management on team performance and production issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience as a Claims Examiner preferred Prior experience in supervising, mentoring, or training others preferred Knowledge of disability adjudication principles and current federal and state laws related to leaves of absence Excellent supervisory skills and ability to build effective working relationships Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
