Eames Consulting has partnered with a leading P&C insurance carrier looking to add an experienced Claims Manager . Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s).
- Handle complex commercial lines claims, including higher severity exposures.
- Investigate General Liability claims, including coverage determination and evaluation of loss exposures Determine appropriate reserving levels
- Exercise significant limits of authority, discretion, and independent judgment in claim handling.
- Identify potentially suspicious claims and ensure proper investigations.
- Provide coverage interpretation and draft detailed positional coverage letters.
- Manage all aspects of claims, including informal hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and claims litigation.
- 7–10 years of Commercial General Liability claims experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience); industry designations preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to resolve complex situations while maintaining relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft and present clear coverage positions.
- Knowledge of statutes, regulations, and case law related to claims.
