Claims Manager (Commercial P&C)

About The Role

As Claims Manager , you’ll lead and mentor a high-performing team handling complex General Liability, Property, and Workers’ Compensation claims across multiple states. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee claim strategies, performance metrics, and operational improvements while contributing to greenfield projects that shape the future of claims operations. With a strong presence in Phoenix, they are expanding leadership opportunities in claims management, offering professionals the chance to step into a role with scope, influence, and a clear path to Director-level progression.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of adjusters, driving performance in severity, closure rates, and client satisfaction
• Overseeing multi-state claims handling and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Partnering with senior leadership on analytics-driven reserving projects and vendor panel refresh initiatives
• Coaching and developing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Skills & Experience

• 6-12 years of commercial P&C claims leadership (GL/Property/WC mix)
• Multi-state adjuster licenses (or AZ license with reciprocity eligibility)
• Proven track record in improving severity and closure metrics
• Strong coaching and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset
• $105K-$135K base salary DOE + 15% annual bonus
• Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days on-site near Scottsdale with optional 9/80 flex schedule
• Paid professional certifications (AIC, CPCU)
• Direct exposure to strategic projects with advancement potential
