Claims Clerk – Workers' CompensationThe Florida League of Cities is looking for a motivated and organized Claims Clerk to support our Workers' Compensation team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work, customer service, attention to detail, and being part of a collaborative team environment.As a Claims Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting claims operations, maintaining electronic records, assisting with benefit payments, and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.What You'll DoAnswer incoming calls and provide professional customer serviceScan, index, and maintain electronic claim filesProcess incoming documents and correspondenceSupport medical and wage benefit payment processingPrepare and distribute claim-related documents and checksMaintain accurate records and documentationAssist claims staff with administrative support activitiesParticipate in training and professional development opportunitiesServe as a positive representative of the organizationWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDOne to three years of administrative or office support experienceProficiency with computers and standard office softwareStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracyPreferred QualificationsExperience in workers' compensation, healthcare, insurance, or a related medical environmentKnowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 diagnosis codesExperience working with electronic document management systemsWhy You'll Love Working HereAt the Florida League of Cities, we believe in supporting our employees personally and professionally.
