What you'll accomplish with us

As a Claims Analyst, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Process and pay life insurance claims by reviewing coverage, gathering required information, and calculating benefit payments.
  • Research beneficiaries, medical records, legal documents, and other information needed to make claim decisions.
  • Prepare correspondence, update claims systems, and maintain accurate claim files and documentation.
  • Communicate with policyholders, agents, funeral homes, and other stakeholders by phone, email, and written correspondence to ensure successful claim resolution.
  • Process reinsurance claims, maintain tax reporting information, monitor suspense accounts, and support special projects and departmental needs.
  • Assist with overflow work and cross-train with other Claims Analysts to support team operations.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

  • Has 2 years of claims experience (life claims experience preferred but not required).
  • Has strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and can quickly learn new systems.
  • Works effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Adapts well to procedural and organizational changes and maintains a positive, learning-oriented attitude.
  • Charter of the French language clause (if needed): Intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves communicating with policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, funeral homes, medical providers, and internal business partners through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence on a daily basis.
