Managing complex medical malpractice and professional liability claims, the full-time Claims Advisor will handle investigations, negotiate settlements, and coordinate legal defense while working remotely. Key responsibilities Analyzes and processes complex liability claims to determine exposure and manages claims to timely resolution Conducts investigations and provides reports on new events, claims, and legal actions Negotiates claim settlements and recommends strategies to maximize settlement outcomes Required qualifications Ten years of complex claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required Preferred Master's or Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university Licenses and designations such as Associate in Claims (AIC) or Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferred In-depth knowledge of medical malpractice insurance principles and laws Claims expertise in medical malpractice, errors and omissions, and related fields
