Job Overview

Client is seeking experienced Auto Claims Adjusters with strong auto liability and physical damage claims experience. The ideal candidate will independently manage complex auto claims from initial investigation through resolution, ensuring accurate coverage decisions, liability assessments, and fair settlements while delivering excellent member service.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex auto claims, including multi-vehicle accidents, disputed liability, comparative negligence, and total loss.
• Evaluate policy coverage, statements, evidence, vehicle damage, and applicable laws to determine liability and settlement outcomes.
• Handle first- and third-party physical damage claims, including repair assessments and settlement negotiations.
• Independently manage an assigned claims inventory and ensure timely resolution with accurate documentation.
• Use Guidewire ClaimCenter and digital tools to document investigations and manage claims efficiently.
• Communicate proactively with members and claimants, providing clear updates and handling difficult situations professionally.
• Collaborate with managers, appraisers, and technical teams to resolve complex claims.
• Support catastrophe-response operations, including potential travel, on-call duties, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of recent auto claims adjusting experience.
• Hands-on experience handling auto physical damage claims, repair decisions, and settlements.
• Experience with auto liability claims, coverage investigations, disputed liability, and comparative negligence.
• Ability to independently manage claims from investigation through resolution.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required insurance adjuster license within 90 days, with up to three attempts.
• Successful completion of a job-related assessment, if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of recent auto claims adjusting experience.
• Total loss experience, including vehicle valuation and settlement negotiations.
• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Active adjuster’s license or multiple state adjuster licenses.
• Experience mentoring or coaching other claims professionals.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• US military experience or experience as a military spouse/domestic partner.

Work Schedule

• Initial 3–4 months: Fully onsite at Phoenix campus for hands-on training and coaching.
• After conversion to full-time: Hybrid schedule with 2–3 days onsite. xhqgsiq
• Flexibility required for catastrophe response, including potential travel and after-hours work.
