CL Psychiatrist

Job Title: Full‑time Psychiatrist – Consultation‑Liaison, Mayo Clinic Arizona (MCA) Department of Psychiatry and Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with psychiatric disorders and comorbid complex medical conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Provide consultation‑liaison services to the Mayo Clinic Hospital with a rotational, cross‑coverage, and call schedule.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, clinical health psychologists, and neuropsychologists to deliver evidence‑based biologic and psychosocial treatments.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows as part of an academic position.
• Engage in clinical research and participate in faculty activities.
• Maintain treatment plans across two locations (Scottsdale clinic and Phoenix hospital campus).

Qualifications

• Board certification in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (mandatory).
• Certification in Consultation‑Liaison Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry preferred but not required.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care and evidence‑based practice.
• First‑year of employment must attain board certification if not already certified.
• Experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is advantageous.

Schedule
