To support the Social Equity & Inclusion team, the full-time Civil Rights Investigator & Educator will conduct impartial investigations related to civil rights compliance and deliver educational programs to foster an inclusive environment while working in a hybrid capacity. Key responsibilities Conduct thorough and unbiased investigations of complaints related to discrimination and civil rights violations Design and deliver educational programs on bias, discrimination, and compliance for the RISD community Collaborate with campus and community partners to enhance awareness and prevention efforts regarding civil rights issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1-2 years of experience in investigations related to civil rights compliance Title IX and/or civil rights investigator certification preferred Demonstrated knowledge of civil rights laws, including Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, and ADA Experience in developing and delivering educational programming related to diversity and inclusion Ability to maintain neutrality and objectivity throughout investigative processes
