The company is committed to professional development, technical excellence, and building long-term relationships with clients and communities.Position SummaryThe Civil Project Engineer Manager will lead civil engineering projects from planning through construction while managing project teams, client relationships, budgets, and schedules.

This role requires a licensed or license-eligible Professional Civil Engineer with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience delivering public and private infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage civil engineering projects from conceptual design through construction.Lead multidisciplinary project teams and supervise technical staff.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and scopes of work.Prepare fee proposals and participate in project planning activities.Coordinate with clients, public agencies, consultants, and internal teams.Review and oversee construction documents, regulatory plans, and public improvement plans.Conduct constructability reviews and provide construction support throughout project execution.Perform conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies, considering land use, zoning, infrastructure requirements, site constraints, and regulatory compliance.Ensure projects meet applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.Mentor engineering staff and provide technical guidance.Support business development through strong client relationships and successful project delivery.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain California PE within six months.5–10 years of relevant civil engineering experience (or equivalent industry experience).Minimum three years of leadership or supervisory experience.Proven project management experience within civil engineering or land development.Strong experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and technical teams.Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with California public agencies and local jurisdictions.Knowledge of California engineering codes, standards, and permitting requirements.Experience with land development, public infrastructure, and construction support services.Technical SkillsAutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency (required).Construction document preparation.Public improvement plan preparation.Regulatory permitting and approvals.Construction administration and field coordination.Project scheduling and cost management.Proposal and contract preparation.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $130,000 – $160,000 annuallyMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with company contributionsProfit Sharing ProgramLife and Disability InsurancePaid Time Off and HolidaysTeam-building events and company-sponsored activitiesAlternative work schedule optionsProfessional growth and advancement opportunities
