Package Project Manager – Civil/Architectural
We are seeking an experienced Package Project Manager to support a large-scale life sciences capital project. This is an owner’s representative / oversight role focused on managing civil and architectural construction packages rather than hands-on field engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned civil and architectural packages, including secondary steel, ceilings, roofing, flooring, drywall, painting, and cold rooms
- Ensure scope definition, design completeness, and constructability readiness
- Review and validate change orders and identify scope or design gaps
- Coordinate with EPCM partners, design firms, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Track and maintain alignment across cost, schedule, scope, and quality
- Lead coordination meetings and drive open issues to resolution
- Serve as the primary owner-side point of contact for assigned packages
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
- 5+ years of project engineering, project management, or construction management experience
- Experience managing $10M+ construction/project scopes
- Strong experience with EPCM firms, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams
- Knowledge of change control, scope management, and package delivery
Preferred
- Pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical, or regulated manufacturing experience
- Manufacturing construction experience
- Cold room experience
