Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation (Defense) | Hybrid/Remote – New York, NY
$125,000–$150,000/Annually + Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of litigated claims from case development through trial preparation.
- Develop case-specific defense strategies for toxic tort and civil litigation matters.
- Draft motions, briefs, legal memoranda, written discovery, and client updates.
- Take and defend depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
- Analyze discovery materials, medical records, and expert evidence.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of defense litigation experience; toxic tort experience preferred.
- Active licenses in New York and New Jersey, in good standing.
- Substantial deposition experience.
- At least one year of courtroom experience.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $125,000-$150,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, years of practice, and other qualifications.
