This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, motivated litigator to take on meaningful responsibility, work closely with senior attorneys, gain hands-on litigation, client, and courtroom experience, and help grow the firm's expanding Texas practice.

What You'll Do
The Civil Litigation Attorney will support a broad range of Texas civil litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from early caseassessment through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery,correspondence, and other legal documents
- Handle written discovery, document review, andcase investigation
- Prepare for and participate in hearings,depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Communicate with clients regarding case status,strategy, deadlines, and next steps
- Work closely with senior attorneys on litigationstrategy and case development
- Conduct legal research and prepare clear,practical legal analysis
- Assist with real estate, construction, business,contract, employment, defamation, landlord/tenant, and general civillitigation matters
- Support the growth of Baker Law Group's Texaslitigation practice
- Maintain deadlines, organize case materials, andmove matters forward efficiently
Education & Experience
- Active Texas bar admission
- Approximately 3-5 years of civil litigationexperience
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery,and client communications
- Deposition, hearing, mediation, or trialpreparation experience
- Comfortable working on a variety of civillitigation matters
Additionally, experience in any of the following areas is helpful:
- Real estate, Construction, Employment, Generalcommercial/civil litigations
- Defamation matters, Business or contract & landlord/tenantdisputes
- Court appearances orsecond-chair trial work
- Strong legal writing, research & organizationalskills + deadline management
- Good judgment and willingness to ask questionswhen needed
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients andinternal team members
- Collaborative, low-ego mindset with a passion for growingthe Texas practice
