Civil/ Environmental/ Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Alaska (hybrid), USA

Description of Responsibilities
* Provide Civil/Environmental engineering support in the following areas:
* Engineering design for mine waste and water engineering projects
* Preparation and review of construction cost estimates
* Preparation and review of reclamation cost estimates
* Assist with project management of technical deliverables, scheduling and budgets
* Assist with preparation of permitting applications
* Perform field work, such as geotechnical investigations, engineering oversight during construction and manage QA/QC activities on mine-related earthworks
* Work collaboratively with other technical specialists
* Develop and maintain client relationships
Essential Requirements
* An undergraduate degree in civil, geotechnical/geological or mining engineering
* A minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the mining industry or engineering consulting
* Registered EIT or PE preferred, or ability to obtain certification
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
* Strong inter-personal and communication skills, including writing skills
* Working knowledge Word, and Excel
* Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software, AutoCAD, GIS, slope stability and/or hydrologic analyses and software programs, is desirable
