Position: Civil Engineering Technologists and Technicians
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $60–$95 per hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: ~15 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design, review, and evaluate technically accurate questions and scenarios based on civil engineering technologist and technician workflows.
- Apply practical civil engineering knowledge to assess feasibility, accuracy, and real‑world applicability of AI-generated content.
- Contribute insights related to construction methods, materials testing, surveying, drafting, and infrastructure projects.
- Review and refine prompts to ensure alignment with industry standards, safety practices, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with researchers to improve structured datasets used for training and evaluating AI systems.
Requirements
- Strong experience working as a civil engineering technologist or technician.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering practices, drawings, specifications, and field procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, plans, and construction data accurately.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous research environment.
