Civil/Structural Engineer
Location: Washington, DC (On-site, 5 days/week)
Salary Range: $70.00/hr - $75.00/hr
Overview
Seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to support substation and construction projects. The role requires strong skills in steel and concrete design and experience with electric utility projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for substation and civil projects.
- Use STAAD, Mathcad, and L-Pile for design and analysis.
- Prepare and review drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support construction efforts.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience.
- Proven experience in electric utility projects (must-have).
- Proficient in STAAD, Mathcad, and L-Pile.
- Expertise in steel and concrete design.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience).
