Duties/Responsibilities:

This position supports the mission of the Land Development Division by collaborating with a team of engineers in preparing engineering designs for various projects. They will be a part of the design team in the execution and management of projects.

• Design of stormwater management systems for new construction and existing developments.
• Grading of new construction and existing developments, including roads, retaining walls, swales and stormwater management elements.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills and ability to use sound engineering judgement.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems to maintain project documents including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (AutoCad a plus).
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in Land Development.
• 1-2 years of experience in grading and drainage design. xhqgsiq
• Experience in a construction or engineering office.
