JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil engineer with a strong background in the solid waste industry, site design, and land development. The ideal candidate will possess advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, coupled with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in civil site design projects, including commercial properties, shopping centers, landfills, and landfill expansions/closures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects while building relationships with clients and overseeing design and construction. Key Responsibilities: • Develop detailed drawings and designs from scratch using AutoCAD Civil 3D (Intermediate to Advanced level). • Manage end-to-end civil site design projects, including landfill expansions, closures, and construction oversight. • Collaborate with clients to discuss project needs, permitting, subcontractor coordination, and approvals. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring quality service delivery. • Oversee project management tasks, including developing schedules and managing resources. • Perform technical analyses, including cut-fill calculations, stormwater management, and waste-sizing evaluations. Day-to-Day Duties: • Take ownership of assigned projects, addressing client needs and delivering tailored solutions. • Collaborate with team members and work closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless execution. • Conduct site visits (approximately 20% travel) to locations such as, Long Beach. • Provide on-site support during construction phases, as needed (frequency may vary depending on project requirements).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•2-3 years minimum experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D: Ability to create designs and drawings independently. • 1-3+ years in preferably solid waste industry, civil site design, or land development. • Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory compliance. xhqgsiq Strong communication and client management skills.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) -Plant 3d is a plus -Landfill / Landfill Gas / Solid Waste experience is preferred
