$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

New engineers work closely with all levels of engineers in the company and have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.
Day to Day:
- Preparing PE / SE stamped design plans and calculations for temporary and permanent systems on construction projects
- Design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry construction materials
- Written and verbal communication with general contractors and engineering/drafting project team
- Some travel to project sites around the U.S.
Requirements:
- Experience: Preferably – 3 years of experience working full-time for an engineering firm or construction company or 12 months of experience working full-time for an engineering firm or construction company, or 18 months of experience working part-time for an engineering firm or construction company, or (1) 8-week minimum internships with an engineering firm or construction company
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering (structural focus), or Architectural Engineering
- Coursework: Structural analysis, geotechnical engineering
- EIT licensure by hire date
- Preferred Skills:
- Beneficial Coursework (but not mandatory): Timber Design, Foundation Design, Temporary Structures Design
- Beneficial Code Knowledge: AASHTO, IBC, ASCE7, NDS
- Beneficial Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Risa, Tedds
Compensation:
$80,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.
