Civil Engineer - We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team and work on a variety of land development and infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their technical skills in site development, grading, utilities, and stormwater design while working alongside experienced project engineers and managers.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with civil engineering design for land development projects
- Prepare stormwater management calculations and designs
- Develop site grading and utility plans
- Design water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems
- Prepare preliminary and final construction documents
- Assist with stormwater pollution prevention plans and permitting documents
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop plans and design documents
- Coordinate with project engineers, project managers, and subconsultants
- Assist with project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables
- Prepare engineers' opinions of probable cost
- Work on multiple projects while managing priorities and deadlines
- Continue developing technical skills through hands-on project experience and mentorship
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Experience or interest in land development and site design
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
- Strong interest in grading, utilities, and stormwater design
- EIT certification or passing the FE exam is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Team player with a strong desire to grow technically and professionally
