Civil Defense/Aviation Attorney

You will be entrusted with a diverse and challenging caseload, assuming significant responsibilities from the outset.

Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse and challenging caseload in aviation and aerospace matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings; manage pre-trial discovery and deposition preparation; and support trial teams.
• Work independently and with a team to achieve client objectives with minimal supervision.
• Travel as required to support matters and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the New York bar in good standing
• Experience in civil defense litigation in state and federal courts; ability to prepare cases for trial.
• Experience in aviation law, product liability, and/or premises liability is preferred but not required.
• Excellent research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and deposition skills; strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Trial skills and experience are beneficial but not necessary.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to handle files with minimal supervision.
• Some travel may be required.
