This role offers the chance to make a significant impact through high-quality construction management, leadership, and close collaboration with experienced teams.Project Manager Benefits & CompensationAnnual salary of $120,000–$172,000Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with 3% company matchProfit sharing at 7% (6-year vesting)Discretionary annual bonusPaid time off, holidays, and stipendsOpportunity for professional growth within an established organizationProject Manager Requirements & Qualifications6–10 years of construction experienceBackground with a General Engineering Class A contractor as a Project ManagerExperience with private work construction projectsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or Construction Management (BSCM) preferredStrong organizational, communication, and leadership abilitiesValid driver's licenseFirst Aid and CPR certification, and Competent Person trainingPhysical ability to work in active construction environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and endure varying outdoor conditionsProject Manager Preferred Background & SkillsPrior experience on underground pipelines, pump stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, site utilities, or complex civil worksAbility to interact effectively with stakeholders, subcontractors, engineers, and ownersProject Manager Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesServe as the company's on-site representative, engaging with all project stakeholdersPlan, direct, and coordinate field engineering activities to achieve project goals on time and within budgetReview job files, drawings, specifications, and manage submittals, schedules, and contractsOrganize and lead pre-construction meetings and job setup documentationDevelop site logistics and manage procurement, labor, and subcontractor coordinationOversee safety, quality, productivity, and compliance throughout all project phasesSupport project closeout activities, including punch lists, final walkthroughs, and as-built documentationRespond to time-sensitive issues and travel between project sites as neededThis is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Livermore, CA, with occasional travel to additional project locations.
