Civil Cad Designer - Land DevelopmentRESPEC seeks a Civil Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer located in Tampa, Sarasota, or Ft. Myers, Florida.The Civil CAD Designer will provide drafting and design support for civil engineering projects, including site development, municipal infrastructure, and utility design. Projects will vary in size and complexity and be produced in a collaborative office environment alongside project managers, engineers, and other design professionals.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain civil engineering drawings and models using AutoCAD Civil 3DPrepare site, grading, utility, and roadway plans for land development projectsIncorporate design updates and revisions based on input from engineers and project managersCoordinate with internal team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of design documentsMaintain drawing standards, file organization, and project documentationSupport permitting and construction documentation effortsRequired:Associate's degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related fieldA minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering drafting and designProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networksExperience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projectsStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travelCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
