Civil Aviation Project ManagerWe are seeking a Civil Aviation Project Manager to oversee civil engineering projects within the aviation sector, including both airside and landside operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all project objectives are met in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager will provide leadership in planning, resource management, stakeholder communication, risk management, and quality assurance.ResponsibilitiesManage projects in accordance with established scope, schedule, and budgetCollaborate with internal disciplines and subconsultants to develop risk-aware project scopes and feesDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, and quality management plansLead subconsultant management and ensure successful execution of project deliverablesMonitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategiesPrepare and manage project documentation, proposals, and extra work order requestsCommunicate updates and project status to internal leadership and external stakeholdersParticipate in financial review meetings and prepare progress reports and invoicesBuild and maintain strong client relationships to ensure alignment on goals and project outcomesGuide and coordinate technical resources across project teams for quality deliveryProvide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to project team members, including performance management and professional developmentSupport business development activities including proposal development, interviews, and Go/No-Go decisionsRequired SkillsStrong communication and presentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office toolsExperience managing multidisciplinary project teamsMust HaveBachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited programProfessional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain registration in required states within 3 months of hire7+ years of experience in civil engineering project managementDemonstrated success managing multidisciplinary teams on complex projectsNice to HaveCAPM or PMP certificationExperience in airside airport civil infrastructure design (runways, taxiways, taxilanes, RSA improvements) in accordance with FAA guidelinesFamiliarity with various delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3Local experience in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC
