JOB OPENING: CITY TREASURER BATTLE CREEK, NE

The City of Battle Creek is seeking a full-time City Treasurer. This position manages municipal funds, investments, financial reporting, payroll, and utility billing in compliance with Nebraska statutes, working closely with the City Clerk.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in municipal finance, banking, or advanced bookkeeping is preferred.


• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (equivalent experience considered).


• Must be bondable and willing to complete annual state-approved continuing education.


• Strong computer, financial, and customer service skills required.
