ABOUT SAPPHIRE HEALTH

At Sapphire Health, we are at the forefront of operating the technology infrastructure that keeps healthcare running. Our Citrix & Client Experience team delivers the virtual desktops, published applications, and endpoint experience that clinicians and staff rely on every shift to access Epic and other critical systems. We combine enterprise-grade application and desktop delivery technologies with proven expertise to keep the clinical workspace fast, available, and secure. If you are passionate about end user computing and client experience and motivated to make a meaningful impact in healthcare, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Citrix Engineer is a mid-level technical role on the Sapphire Health Citrix & Client Experience team, responsible for designing, building, operating, and optimizing the virtual application and desktop platforms that clinicians and staff use to deliver patient care. This role operates across the full Citrix delivery stack: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops on premises and in Citrix Cloud (DaaS), image management through Machine Creation Services and Provisioning Services, user profile management, and the endpoints and authentication in front of them, supporting 6,000 virtual desktops across our healthcare clients. The Citrix Engineer is expected to operate with increasing independence, taking ownership of platform administration, image and release management, login and session performance, and tier 2 and tier 3 incident response. Working closely with the Technical Architect and supporting the development of Technical Specialists, this position is central to delivering a reliable, responsive clinical workspace across our managed healthcare environments.
