Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop EngineerLocation: Austin, TX (4-5 days onsite required) Duration: 12-18 monthsWe are seeking an experienced Citrix Engineer to help set up and configure Citrix with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Citrix infrastructure, Azure integration, and core Windows Server and networking fundamentals.Qualifications:6+ years overall IT experience, with at least 2+ years hands-on with Citrix or Azure Virtual DesktopProven experience setting up or managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on-prem or cloud)Experience deploying or managing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)Strong understanding of Windows Server administrationWorking knowledge of network fundamentals — routing, firewall rules, VPNs, DNS, etc.Experience with Citrix Cloud preferredAbility to work independently and deliver within project timelinesPreferred Certifications:Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA–V) or higherMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)Key Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, and test Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in an Azure Virtual Desktop environmentSet up and manage Citrix Cloud connectors and integration with Azure resourcesConfigure networking components, including firewall rules, subnets, and VPNs, to support secure connectivityWork with Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, file shares, etc.)Troubleshoot user access, session performance, and connectivity issuesCollaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth implementation and handoffGenius Road, LLC is proud to be a Certified Women's Business Enterprise, an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
