Analyzing and correlating information from various sources, the full-time CISSP Certified IT Security Engineer will identify, investigate, and report vulnerabilities in the environment while assisting with the resolution of security incidents in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Conduct research and analysis to identify and prevent compromises of networks, host systems, and data Provide engineering support for security incidents, including initial triage and forensic analysis of vulnerabilities Perform trend analysis and reporting on security incidents, recommending remediation strategies and participating in IT security audits Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience CISSP certification, with CISM or GIAC as additional preferred certifications Strong knowledge of network security technologies and operating systems including Unix, Linux, Apple, and Windows Familiarity with network security architecture concepts and tools such as IDS, IPS, and endpoint protection
