We provide enterprise level information technology services including network management and security; computer operations; application hosting; desktop provisioning and management; and modern and responsive digital services to 40,000 internal stakeholders plus the residents, business owners and visitors to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.EOTSS is seeking to hire a Cisco Wireless Engineer that will be mainly responsible for reviewing and implementing network related changes to support our Cisco Wireless environment. The Cisco Wireless Engineer will provide 2nd tier support for all Cisco Wireless network issues and connectivity.
The incumbent will troubleshoot network and security related issues with a focus on but not limited to network aspects the incumbent is responsible for to determine a cause.The Cisco Wireless Engineer will provide end to end resolution or support of all wireless network and security related incidents by utilizing, and configuring wireless network, monitoring and security tools and resources including joint resolution with application groups, systems groups, engineering teams, multiple vendors, and customers. The Cisco Wireless Engineer configures and supports enterprise management tools to automate tasks in the daily operation of the network and deliver service solutions for the customer. Our customers include all Executive Branch Secretariats and agencies, Judicial branch, Legislative branch, and others at various levels of local, State and Federal government.
The incumbent will be responsible for onsite resolution to network outages when such problems cannot be resolved remotely. The incumbent will configure and supports enterprise management tools to automate network and wireless tasks in the daily operation of the network and deliver service solutions for the customer. The incumbent will also be responsible for administering our DNAC application, which will include setting up of alerts, maintaining the integrity of all data that is in DNAC as well as work on reporting, and outages.
