CipherTrust Security Engineer

Salary: $124,800 - 145,600 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of information security engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Thales CipherTrust Key Manager (CTKM) and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE).
• At least 5 years of Linux, Unix, and Windows administration experience.
• At least 5 years of scripting and automation experience.
• At least 5 years of encryption or tokenization experience.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting HSMs or security appliances.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic protocols, algorithms, and key management.
• Experience with infrastructure upgrades, security patching, and enterprise change and incident management.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Preferred: CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent certification; experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef; financial services experience; and experience mentoring engineers.

• Design, implement, administer, and troubleshoot CipherTrust CTKM and CTE.
• Support encryption, key management, HSMs, security appliances, and data protection solutions.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Develop automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Support infrastructure, firmware, security patch, and version upgrades.
• Apply knowledge of cryptography, tokenization, format-preserving encryption (FPE), and transparent data encryption (TDE).
• Support enterprise change and incident management.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish technical standards and best practices.

We are seeking a senior technical subject matter expert to support enterprise encryption, key management, security appliances, and data protection. The role is based in Columbus, Ohio; Chandler, Arizona; or Charlotte, North Carolina, with a hybrid schedule of three days. The pay rate is $60–$70 per hour.
