Manufacturing Production SupervisorBruker Cellular Analysis, a subdivision of Bruker, is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor. The Manufacturing Production Supervisor will be responsible for production support, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality review and inspections of the Company's consumables and products. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring on-time delivery of materials to customers.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Supervising the day-to-day production of the Company's consumables to meet customer demand, executing production as needed to support Production Technicians.Assisting in determining schedule and budget requirements.Ensuring material supply chain to support on time production, managing vendor relationships.Training Production Technicians in complex processes.Collaborating with manufacturing engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system or process excursions.Performing complex, mechanical assembly and quality inspection of products according to established specifications in a support capacity.Performing quality batch record review and process trending.Ensuring the on-time delivery of high value, time-sensitive material to both vendors and customers.Interacting with upper-level management to escalate issues and communicate status, actively participating in cross-functional teams.Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsQualifications include:Bachelor's degree with preference for a master's degree in STEM discipline, engineering preferred.Four or more years of experience, or equivalent education plus experience (master's with 2 years of industry experience), working in a high-tech manufacturing setting either in a production capacity, prior supervisory experience preferred.Experience operating within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) such as SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as MasterControl Manufacturing Excellence (MX).Ability to run quality methods, generate SPC run charts and perform quality batch record reviews for product release.
Able to speak in terms of statistical process control (SPC), inspection sampling (ANSI methods), failure mode analysis, and other quality tools required.Ability to run predefined recipes on vapor deposition chambers, liquid handlers, ovens, and imaging systems. Ability to inspect and disposition device surfaces, electrical continuity, and cosmetic damage. Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to isolate and resolve component level failures and report findings back to service engineering or an FSE.The ability to use multi-meters, pipettes, scales, and other common use lab equipment.
Ability to use small hand tools (tweezers), microscope, and maneuver small parts in assembly fixtures.Able to wear PPE, which includes eye protection, masks, hair nets, gloves, ear buds and lab coats.Well organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to write standard operating procedures (SOP), technical reports, and lead team meetings.Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interface positively with other team members and departments.A passion for technology and a willingness to take ownership of results.At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $87K-$140K provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
