Primary Care Pediatrician

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, wellness visits, and acute illness management for children with special healthcare needs.
• Coordinate care with pediatric specialists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive treatment.
• Develop individualized care plans that support each patient's medical, developmental, and psychosocial needs.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
• Participate in shared call coverage to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and evidence‑based practice.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Strong commitment to providing compassionate, family‑centered care for children with special healthcare needs.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and care coordination skills.
