We are currently receiving resumes for the position of children’s ministry director. This is a full-time position. However, we could rework the job description to consider a bi-vocational candidate if someone local to our area wanted to submit a resume.
Responsibilities
- To oversee our Wednesday night children’s program. We currently have an AWANA program with a director and workers in place.
- To coordinate our Sunday morning nursery and preschool schedule for Sunday school and for worship.
- Oversee our children’s church (K-5 – 2 grade). We currently have music leaders and teachers in place for this ministry.
- Plan and oversee summer camps. (usually 3 – 5 grade)
- Plan and oversee our large children’s ministry events. (Vacation Bible School, Candy Cane Christmas Carnival, Easter Egg Hunt, etc.)
- Oversee our Mother’s Day Out/Pre-k. We currently have this ministry completely staffed.
