You could be any level of PQE with a desire and motivation to stay within Childcare and to be part of a supportive and collaborative public law team.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of public law children matters whilst working alongside experienced colleagues within a supportive and collaborative team.
The role will primarily involve representing parents and other family members in care proceedings under Section 31 of the Children Act 1989 , together with associated public law applications and pre-proceedings work.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high standards of client care.

The role will involve advocacy where appropriate, alongside instructing and working closely with counsel in more complex matters.
You will regularly represent vulnerable clients and will be expected to provide clear, practical and compassionate advice throughout proceedings.
