Childcare Principal

As Principal, you'll be responsible for the overall success of your school, leading operations, developing your team, and driving enrollment and performance. You'll ensure a safe, compliant environment while delivering high-quality experience for children, families, and staff.

Lead all aspects of school operations to create a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children and staff

Set the vision for your school and build a positive, student-centered culture aligned with organizational standards

Drive enrollment and retention through strong family relationships, community engagement, and local outreach

Hire, coach, and develop your team to build a high-performing, engaged staff

Ensure full compliance with licensing, health, and safety requirements while maintaining a well-run, secure facility

Oversee curriculum implementation, monitor student outcomes, and manage resources and budget to drive strong school performance

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, Education, or a related field OR combination of equivalent education and experience.

Minimum 35 years of leadership experience in early childhood education, school administration, or a similar operational setting.

Previous teaching experience in early childhood education preferred, with demonstrated progression into leadership roles.

Deep understanding of state licensing regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.

Must meet all state-specific Director qualifications and credentialing requirements.

Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with families, staff, and the community.
