To strengthen a prevention-oriented culture within the Office of Refugee Resettlement's care provider network, the full-time Prevention Specialist will conduct assessments, analyze data, and develop recommendations to improve safety and prevent child abuse and neglect, working remotely for a six-month duration with potential for extension. Key responsibilities Conduct provider- and system-level assessments, data analysis, and continuous improvement activities related to child safety Review and analyze serious incident reports, monitoring findings, and compliance information to identify trends and systemic vulnerabilities Develop and implement tools, training, and methodologies to enhance prevention practices and safety culture across the provider network Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience working with child welfare populations, including congregate care settings Master's degree in social work or related field (or bachelor's plus 10 years of relevant experience) Minimum of 3 years' experience working with immigrating children and families Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
