Qualifications
- Must be licensed (unrestricted) as a medical doctor by the State of Texas and be Board Certified or Board eligible in Psychiatry in the State of Texas.
- Must have current unrestricted registration certificate from the DEA.
- Must possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI#).
- Must complete facility and client required training.
- Psychiatrist must be proficient in computers/electronics health records.
Responsibilities
The Child Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating psychiatric disorders, and performing psychiatric assessments, providing timely, and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our electronic medical records of the residents with intellectual disabilities.
